The best way to simulate how a pitch will perform is to run an artificial carpet through the Lisport testing machine. The more cycles it can achieve, the better the quality.
12.000 Lisport cycles equate to approximately 8 years of normal wear, 30.000 cycles equal approximately 15 years and any system that can survive above 40.000 cycles is considered to be very impressive indeed.
