British Premier League chooses Lano MXSi TLT artificial grass

2014-06-16

The installation of the new artificial turf pitch at the Ypres Crack Stadium in Belgium has just begun. Lano's MXSi TLT was selected by the British Premier League, the highest football competition level in Britain, which donated this pitch in order to organise the 'Christmas Truce Tournament' there in the coming years.

Christmas soccer

Young people from clubs in the UK, Germany, France and Belgium will compete in the Christmas Truce Tournament to commemorate the 1914 Christmas Ceasefire. During that sudden truce over the Christmas holidays, the British and German soldiers forgot the war for a while to play a game a football together.

A meeting point for young people

The pitch will also be open to other activities. For instance, one of the conditions of the donation is that the West Flemish football club KVK Westhoek should also keep developing a sound community outreach programme for disadvantaged youth there. In addition, the many British schools which visit Ypres every year are welcome to commemorate actively the Great War by playing football matches on the new field. (BLI)

MXSI TLT - Enduring greenness, lasting greatness.

Enduring greenness and lasting greatness are the commitments we abide by, but what about the playing comfort?
At Lano Sports, we never compromise on safety. We believe that sliding and tackling are part of the game, so we have pulled out all the stops to make a safe artificial grass mat. That is why MXSi TLT has great softness and excellent shock absorption, guaranteeing that players can slide and tackle worry-free..
